Dr. Kim Chandler serves as Associate Vice President of Strategy and Effectiveness and oversees the areas of planning, assessment, institutional research, and reporting. She also leads the University’s accreditation activities. Previously, she served as UNTD’s Director of University Accreditation and Policy.
Dr. Chandler came to UNT Dallas in 2020 from Eastfield College where she worked for 13 years in various roles, most recently Vice President of Planning, Research, and Institutional Effectiveness. She has worked in higher education since 2007 and spent the first 10 years as a faculty member in the Psychology Department. Within this role she served as department Chair and Co-Chair of the Honors Program. Dr. Chandler also served as Chair of the IRB.
Dr. Chandler holds an MS and Ph.D. in Experimental Psychology from the University of Memphis and a BS degree in Psychology from Old Dominion University.
