Angie Castillo

Angie Castillo, Chief of Executive Affairs, is the President’s primary liaison and representative. In this role, she advances organizational excellence across the University, provides strategic guidance on key priorities, and oversees all operations in the Office of the President. Prior to this role, Castillo served as the Executive Assistant to the President at UNT Dallas for 18 years.  Before joining UNT Dallas, Castillo worked in project management and graphic design for 10 years.

Castillo earned her Associate of Arts and Sciences degree from Mountain View College in 1997 and her Bachelor of Applied Arts and Sciences degree from the University of North Texas – Dallas Campus in 2002. She is also a member of the first graduating class of UNT – Dallas Campus. In her spare time, Castillo enjoys shopping, traveling, and spending time with family and friends.
