Education Students Receive $12,500 Checks As Surprise Teaching Stipend

Nine UNT Dallas seniors majoring in education received $12,500 checks to help pave the way to rewarding careers as public school teachers in the Southern Dallas region. The funds help support the student-teachers, who do not earn a salary from their school districts yet.
