Steps to Recognize a Phishing Attempt
- Suspicious Sender: Check the sender's email address. Phishing emails often come from addresses that
look like legitimate ones but have slight variations.
- Urgent or Threatening Language: Be cautious of emails that use urgent or threatening language to prompt immediate
action.
- Unusual Requests: Be wary of emails asking for sensitive information such as passwords, credit card
numbers, or personal details.
- Poor Grammar and Spelling: Many phishing emails contain spelling mistakes and poor grammar.
- Suspicious Links or Attachments: Hover over links to see the actual URL before clicking. Be cautious of unexpected
