Most of the applications you will need to work off-campus successfully are accessible via your laptop of the web, including Microsoft Outlook, Office 365, Canvas, Teams, Zoom, and Cisco VPN.
Please continue to employ the security best practices as you work remotely. If you are working with sensitive information, be sure to keep any paperwork secured and lock your computer when you are not using it.
If working from your home on a UNTD issued computer, you will need to use the UNT Virtual Private Network or VPN if you are accessing UNT Dallas shared drives, specific departmental applications, and updates. You will also need to join through VPN at least once a month to receive any required Windows and Anti-Virus updates.
If working from your home on a non-UNTD computer, you need to have current malware/antivirus protection and enable screen time-out.
Make sure to install one of these antivirus solutions to keep your personal computer secure while working remotely.
