Inaugural esports team ready for battle

Following two days of competitive tryouts during the first week of September, the inaugural UNT Dallas Trailblazer Esports team has been selected and is ready to roll. UNT Dallas will compete against collegiate Esports squads throughout Texas and the nation in the National Association of Collegiate Esports (NACE).
The team will compete in Overwatch during the fall and transition to Fortnite in the spring. The action has already started with two preseason matchups this week. League play begins on Monday, Sept. 28. Matches will be held every Monday and Thursday. The top four teams in each group will advance to a playoff. Follow all the action on our Twitch channel
