The Office of Leadership Development offers a variety of ways for students to learn more about themselves, develop sharper skills, and reflect on their impact on campus. Our biggest events include the IGNITE Leadership Retreat, Cord & Ring Ceremony, and the Campus Awards.

The National Society of Leadership & Success (NSLS) is an organization that provides a leadership program to help students achieve personal growth, success, and empower them to have a positive impact in their communities. Participation in this honor society is by invitation.
The Ignite Leadership Retreat is an annual, off-campus leadership development program that happens during the fall semester. Students who participate will learn about personal responsibility, teamwork, and communication while enjoying hands-on experiences to evolve as leaders.
Dates of the 2024-2025 IGNITE Leadership Retreat are September 5th-8th, 2024.
Our students are exceptional student leaders, members of organizations and teams, organizers of community service, and true trailblazers. There are a few ways to serve as a student leader on campus. Join an organization, be our mascot, or work for the Office of Student Engagement as one of our student employees.
