The retreat takes place at Camp Cho Yeh in Livingston, Texas (around the Houston area). We will leave campus around 12:00 p.m. on a Thursday and will return to campus around 12:00 p.m. on a Sunday. You must ride on the charter bus to and from the camp location. You are not allowed to drive yourself.

Where you Stay: Participants stay in air conditioned and/or heated cabins at the camp location.
Food & Meals: Students are provided breakfast, lunch, and dinner at the retreat location. Our office also brings along a variety of snacks for participants, but we also encourage you to bring your own snacks if we do not meet your snacking standards.
Activities: The activities will consist of a combination of structured indoor and outdoor activities, which include team builders, ice breakers, and training workshops. The activities are interactive and require some self-reflection. The schedule is laid out as follows:
The Ignite Leadership Retreat is an annual, off-campus program that happens during the fall semester. Students who participate will connect with others, enjoy hands-on experiences, and evolve as leaders.

Sparks are student leaders who have participated in a previous Ignite Leadership Retreat. These leaders will be in charge of a group of students throughout the trip. They will aid them in group actvities, be a team lead during facilitator-lead sessions, and make sure their groups are getting the most out of their experience. Spark registration is open.
