The UNT Dallas Organizational Behavior and Human Resources degree is fully aligned with the SHRM Curriculum guidelines. Organizational Behavior and Human Resources Management majors, with 500 hours of relevant experience, are eligible to apply for the SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM CP) exam in their final year of study. The 500 hours may be completed in one semester in a full-time internship, or over two or more semesters in a part-time internship. Other relevant experiences include: HR work-study assignments, directed HR work-related projects, directed HR research-related projects, supervised independent study in HR and/or part-time or full-time work in HR. The Organizational Behavior and Human Resources Management degree leaves graduates career-ready, prepared to enter the vibrant Dallas-Fort Worth business world, rated the No. 1 job market in America by Forbes.
