Our identity and access services include assistance with password resets and account
recovery, ensuring you can quickly regain access to your accounts. We also provide
support for setting up multi-factor authentication to enhance your account security.
How do I request a replacement ID card?
Follow these steps to obtain a replacement ID card
- Access QuikPay website and follow the instructions to verify your identity
- The cost is $5.00 and must be paid prior to printing. No cash is accepted at the Help
Desk
- Go to the Help Desk, once your payment is verified, you will receive your duplicate
ID

How can I reset or change my password?
Follow these steps if you know your current password:
- Go to the UNT Account Management System website.
- Enter the required information – first, last name and birthdate
- Confirm your Social Security Number
- Provide an answer to your security question
- If you do not remember the answers to your security questions, contact the Help Desk
to reset your security questions
- You will be prompted to create a new password and confirm.
- Login with your new password to confirm it is working. If not follow the steps 1-5
again. If further assistance is needed, contact the Help Desk

How do I start using DUO?
- Visit the MFA Portal.
- Login with your EUID and Password.
- Select "Enroll in MFA".
- When prompted, verify your identity by providing your data that matches what is in
your UNT record.
- Select "Start Setup".
- Select the type of device you'd like to use. The recommended type is a mobile phone.
- When prompted, enter your mobile number.
- Select your platform (iOS or Android).
- Install the free Duo Mobile app on your device.
- Use the Duo Mobile app on your device and follow the prompt to point your camera at
the QR code on the screen.

How do I request a loaner laptop?
- Visit our Help Desk during hours of operations, located in the Student Center, behind
Starbucks

How to purchase a Microsoft Co-Pilot License
Departments requesting Co-Pilot will be responsible for billing and submit license
requests through ServiceNow, with costs billed annually starting in July 2025.
The current quoted cost is $31.50 per user per month

Onboarding and Offboarding
We streamline IT onboarding with essential tools and training, ensuring new hires
are productive from day one. Our efficient offboarding process includes access deactivation
or access transfer minimizing disruptions and maintaining security. Both processes
enhance the employee experience and operational continuity.
How do I request IT services for a new hire?
The manager or managers delegate must open a request in ServiceNow for the UNT Dallas
Office of Information Technology (OIT) to provide IT resources such as a computer,
software, application and shared drive access.
The request must be submitted seven (7) days in advance of the new hire start date
- Access the ServiceNow IT Service Catalog to initiate your request.
- Log in using your EUID and Password, if prompted.
- Search in the upper left corner by typing “UNTD Dallas New Hire Onboarding” or click button below
- Complete and submit the form.

Internet and Network
Our network support services include ensuring reliable Wi-Fi or LAN connectivity,
setting up and troubleshooting VPNs, and providing guidance on network security. We
are dedicated to keeping you connected and secure, whether you're on campus or working
remotely.
How do I connect to the UNT Dallas VPN?
- Navigate to the VPN Portal: Open your preferred browser and go to https://vpn.untdallas.unt.edu
- Login: Enter your EUID (example: abc1234) and password.
- DUO Verification: A DUO push notification will be sent to your phone to verify your attempt to access
the VPN. You must verify this notification to proceed.
- Accept Terms of Use: Read over the Terms of Use and click "Continue" if you accept them.
- Download the VPN Client: Click on the blue button that says "Download for Windows" or "Download for macOS"
depending on your operating system.
- Install the VPN Client: Locate the downloaded file (commonly found in the Downloads folder) and double-click
it to run the installer. Follow the default installation preferences in the installation
wizard.
- Launch the VPN Client: After installation, open the Cisco AnyConnect Secure Mobility Client from your Start
Menu (Windows) or Applications folder (macOS).
- Connect to the VPN: Enter vpn.untdallas.unt.edu in the text field and click "Connect".
- Login Again: Enter your EUID and password once more.
- DUO Verification Again: A second DUO push notification will be sent to your phone for verification. Verify
this notification to proceed.
- Accept Terms Again: Read over the Terms of Use and click "Continue" if you accept them.
- Confirmation: You will receive a message near the top right of the screen confirming when you
are connected

I am having trouble connecting to VPN?
- Check Connection: Ensure your device is connected to the correct network by looking near the system
clock
- VPN Access: If you need VPN access, search for "Cisco AnyConnect" at the start menu, verify
the address vpn.unt.edu, click connect, and sign in with your EUID and password
- Shared Drives: If you are having issues with shared drives, check for files named "shared drives"
or "mapped drives" on your desktop and click on them to map your drives
How do I connect to campus WiFi?
Connecting to the campus WiFi allows you to access university resources and the internet
while on campus. The process involves selecting the correct network and logging in
with your UNT Dallas credentials.

- Locate the WiFi Icon: On your device, find the WiFi icon near the system clock. This icon will indicate
the status of your connection
- Select the Network: Click on the WiFi icon and select the network named UNT or TrailNet
- Enter Credentials: If prompted, enter your EUID (example: abc1234) and password
- Accept Terms of Use: Read over the Terms of Use and click "Continue" if you accept them

- Please submit your request to the Help Desk in our Service Catalog
- Complete the request form
- Once submitted you will receive a ticket number for reference

Labs and Printing
How do I use our campus printer?
To use the campus printer, you can follow these steps:
Introduction Using Papercut’s Webprint allows you to print from personal devices onto UNTD’s campus
printers. Web Print gives users easy access to print Microsoft Office, PDF, and image
files directly from the browser on their own devices
Steps to Print
- Ensure that your document is saved to an easily accessible location and in one of
the following file formats.
- Ensure network wireless network connections and connect to campus VPN via Cisco AnyConnect.
- Log in to http://printing.untdallas.edu:9191 with your EUID and Password.
- Select the Web Print link from the left-side menu.
- Click the Submit a Job link.
- Enter the number of copies you wish to print.
- Click the Upload Documents link.
- Drag and drop your file to the Drag files or click Upload from computer to locate
your file manually.
- You have successfully uploaded a file to the Secure Print Queue.
- Visit a nearby printer to release your print job

How do I check my printer balance?
Steps to Check Balance
- Log in: Access the PaperCut management system using your EUID and password. You can do this
by visiting the URL
- Navigate to Balance Section: Once logged in, look for a section or tab labeled "Balance", "Account", or "Usage".
This section will display your current printer balance.
- Review Details: Here, you can see the remaining balance, recent transactions, and any other relevant
details about your printer usage.
