Trail Ready Summer Bridge Program for Incoming Freshmen Starts June 10
UNT Dallas is launching its first free summer program for incoming freshmen to ensure they are prepared for college-level coursework. The Trail Ready Summer Bridge Program starts June 10. It runs for four weeks through July 3. A second, identical session runs from July 15 through August 8.

The University of North Texas at Dallas (UNT Dallas) has scored the best in North Texas on two newly released rankings of colleges and universities in Texas and across the country. This is the third month in a row that respected, national evaluations have positioned UNT Dallas as a top choice in North Texas. The three reviews are by U.S. News & World Report, Washington Monthly and Money.

Innovative Young Inventors Take Center Stage at UNT Dallas-Wipro K-12 Science Fair
Some of the brightest young minds in North Texas shared the stage at the inaugural “Great Scientist Soiree” on Aug. 30. It was the first science fair of the new school year, hosted by UNT Dallas and Wipro, a leading technology services and consulting company with an extensive presence in North Texas. Talented elementary, middle and high school students demonstrated their ideas, posed for photographs and received trophies. The fair showcased 35 projects by 53 students from first grade to high school sophomores attending 27 schools.

UNT Dallas Scores Highest of All North Texas Colleges in Money Magazine Ratings
The University of North Texas at Dallas (UNT Dallas) received the highest rating of all North Texas colleges and universities surveyed in the latest Money Magazine annual “Best Colleges in America” report. UNT Dallas is the only college or university in the DFW region to score 4.5 (out of 5) and one of only six statewide.
