All Applicants
All students that want to live on campus must be fully admitted and accepted to the university to access the Housing Application in the Student Housing Portal. Therefore, we strongly encourage students to apply as soon as they are able to have the best chance of securing a space in our community.
Requirements to Apply:
- Students must:
- Be fully admitted and accepted to the university
- Be enrolled as a full-time student (minimum of 12 hours of classes)
- Have a Meal Plan (Blazer 10, 14 or 19 Meal Plan available)
- Blazer 19 Meal Plan is required for all First-Year Students
- Have Renters Insurance (Proof required during Move/Check-in)
- Pay to $100 non-refundable Application Fee (required of all applicants)
- Be under the age of 25 throughout the duration of the Housing Contract Period
Important '25 - '26 Housing Application Dates:
First-year Students:
- Applications Opens: Friday, 2/14/25 at 9:00am
- Priority Consideration Submission Deadline: the earlier the better
- Deadline to Submit Completed Application: N/A (applications accepted on rolling basis)
Returning Students (this includes all non-first-year students including transfer students):
- Applications Opens: Friday, 2/14/25 at 9:00am
- Priority Consideration Submission Deadline: Monday, 3/24/25 by 11:59pm
- Deadline to Submit Completed Application: N/A (applications accepted on rolling basis)
Special Populations Timeline (includes scholarship groups i.e. Trailblazer Elite, Presidential Scholars, Greater Texas Foundation Scholars etc.):
- Applications Opens: Friday, 2/14/25 at 9:00am
- Application Submission Deadline: Tuesday, 7/1/25 at 8:00am
Student Athletes:
- Applications Opens: Friday, 2/14/25 at 9:00am
- Application Submission Deadline: Friday, 8/1/25 at 8:00am
Summer '25 Housing:
- Applications Opens: Friday, 2/28/25 at 9:00AM
- Priority Consideration Submission Deadline: Monday, 4/14/25
- Deadline to Submit Completed Application: Wednesday, 5/7/25 at 8:00AM (all applications
received after this point are not guaranteed summer housing)
Completing Your Application
The on-campus housing application is completed via your MyUNTDallas account by selecting the Housing Portal. In order to submit a Housing Application, you'll need your EUID login and password. You can begin your application, save it, and come back to it at a later date if needed.
- Go to your MyUNTDallas account
- Select the “Resource” box
- Click on “Live on Campus”
- You will be directed to the Housing Portal to Log in
- Once you have logged in, select the Academic Year you are applying for Housing
Once you have followed all steps in the application, your application will be complete.
Housing is limited and spaces are assigned on using a formula to evaluate applicants holistically. Once rooms have filled, students will be placed on a waiting list and contacted once spaces are available.
