Returning students are defined as a student who was previously enrolled as undergraduate degree seeking, but has not been enrolled for at least one calendar year. These students must reapply for admission by submitting a reentry application to the Office of Undergraduate Admissions. Students must be in good academic standing and eligible to enroll at UNT Dallas.
If you have earned your high school diploma or GED five or more years ago and have completed fewer than 30 college credit hours at a college or university, UNT Dallas' Adult Admission Program is just for you!
Returning Students with No New Coursework
Former students who are returning without having attended another college or university since last attending UNT Dallas will only be required to submit a reentry application for admission through Apply Texas. Students must be in good academic standing and eligible to enroll at UNT Dallas.
*Note: Students who attended UNT Dallas prior to 2015 may be required to request an official transcript be sent from UNT.*
Returning Students with New Coursework
Former students who have attended another college or university since last attending UNT Dallas will be required to submit a reentry application for admissions through Apply Texas along with official transcripts from all colleges and universities attended since last enrolled at UNT Dallas. Students must not currently be on academic suspension from any other institution attended and must have at least a 2.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale on transfer work completed after leaving UNT Dallas. Former students must be in good standing and eligible to enroll at UNT Dallas.
