Transfer Admissions
Be a part of a university that understands and addresses the needs of a transfer student including online courses, intrusive advising, and a class schedule that fits your life.
How to become a Trailblazer
- Submit a Transfer application on www.applytexas.org for the University of North Texas at Dallas.
- Submit official transcripts from ALL previously attended and/or currently enrolled
colleges/universities.
*Note: Transcripts from international colleges/universities must be translated and evaluated for authentication by a recognized U.S. evaluation company. The evaluation must include course-by-course grades, a grade point average (GPA) calculation on the U.S. scale, and indicate the diploma conferred and its U.S. equivalency. The evaluation must be original, and forwarded to UNT Dallas directly from the credential evaluation company. Students may choose any agency that is accredited by the Association of International Credential Evaluators, Inc. or by the National Association of Credential Evaluation Services
Required for students with 12 or fewer transferable credits
- Official final high school transcript or General Equivalency Diploma (GED)
- SAT (UNT Dallas code 5999) or ACT (UNT Dallas code 6366) scores. UNT Dallas is Test Optional so applicants are not required to submit an entrance exam score.
- Note: If you have earned your high school diploma or GED five or more years ago and have completed fewer than 12 college credit hours at a college or university, UNT Dallas's Adult Admission Program is just for you!

Application Fee and Fee Waivers
UNT Dallas does NOT charge an application fee. Students do not need to pay upfront or submit a fee waiver in order to have their application reviewed.
If a student is admitted to the university and decides to enroll at UNT Dallas, they will then be charged an enrollment fee of $100. This one-time fee, is charged during a student's first semester. The fee covers the administrative costs associated with the processing of a new student application. This fee will be added to a student's account, and they may use financial aid resources to cover the fee. There are no waivers or exemptions for the enrollment fee. If you have any questions, please contact admissions@untdallas.edu.
