- Submit a Freshman application via www.applytexas.org for the University of North Texas at Dallas (Make sure to select the right university)
- Submit an official high school transcript denoting your graduation plan.
- Submit an official college transcript, if you have taken any dual credit or college courses.
- Submit SAT (UNT Dallas code 5999) or ACT (UNT Dallas code 6366). UNT Dallas is Test Optional and currently does not require an SAT or ACT test score submission for admission purposes. However, students are encouraged to submit test scores to satisfy TSI and for academic placement purposes.

*Note for students with a GED: A student who has earned a GED may be considered for
acceptance to UNT Dallas. Official copy of the GED certificate/scores is required.
Students 22 years and younger are required to meet the freshman requirements for admissions
with the GED accepted in lieu of the high school transcript. If you earned your high
school diploma or GED five or more years ago and never enrolled at a college or university
before, UNT Dallas's Adult Admission Program might be just for you!

Application Fee and Fee Waivers
Please note, UNT Dallas does NOT charge an application fee. Students do not need to pay upfront or submit a fee waiver in order to have their application reviewed. If a student is admitted to the university and decides to enroll at UNT Dallas, they will then be charged an enrollment fee of $100. This one-time fee, is charged during a student's first semester. The fee covers the administrative costs associated with the processing of a new student application. This fee will be added to a student's account, and they may use financial aid resources to cover the fee. There are no waivers or exemptions for the enrollment fee. Transcripts
If delivered in person, please be sure that your transcript is in the original, sealed envelope when you submit it to our office. Transcripts can still be hand-delivered by dropping them off at the Student Solutions Center on the first floor of the Student Center during business hours. Outside of business hours, they can be dropped off in a document mailbox attached to the wall of the Founders Hall building (labeled #2 on campus map). We also highly encourage you to submit transcripts electronically when possible for a faster and safer alternative.
Submitted electronically through an encryption service such as Parchment, E-Script, National Student Clearing House, Scoir, or GreenLight to admissions@untdallas.edu. To avoid delays please make sure you select the correct institution and indicate the University of North Texas at Dallas. We can also accept electronic and digital transcripts directly from your high school counselor or your schools Registrar's Office if sent via an official school staff email address directly to our office. *Note: Transcripts from international colleges/universities must be translated and evaluated for authentication by a recognized U.S. evaluation company. The evaluation must include course-by-course grades, a grade point average (GPA) calculation on the U.S. scale, and indicate the diploma conferred and its U.S. equivalency. The evaluation must be original, and forwarded to UNT Dallas directly from the credential evaluation company. Students may choose any agency that is accredited by the Association of International Credential Evaluators, Inc. (http://aice-eval.org/endorsed-members/) or by the National Association of Credential Evaluation Services (http://www.naces.org/members.aspx).
