Texas Blue Chip Program for Health Care Providers
What is the Texas Blue Chip Program?
The Texas Blue Chip program is an extension of the Texas Law Enforcement Peer Network (TLEPN) in the greater North Texas Region designed to provide no cost clinical resources for police officers. Clinical resources include counseling and psychologist office visits that can be accessed without having to go through employee assistance program, officer wellness programs at a police department, a peer network, or insurance referrals.

Accounting and Reimbursement –The designated partner organizations will submit the Texas Blue Chip (physical chip or digital copy) and attached invoice of service delivery within 30 days of service. The designated partner organization shall not include any client identifying data including the client’s name, date of birth, client record number, social security number, or department on the invoice. The designated partner organization must mail the chip to Meadows with the invoice number in the envelope to receive payment.

Directions For Submission
- Open the Lone Star Readiness App
- Present the QR Code to the Health Provider for scanning
The Health Provider will then utilize the sample invoice and will have a direct Point of Contact for questions and concerns
