DACA stands for Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals. Established in 2012 by President Barack Obama, DACA allows undocumented individuals who entered the United States as minors to receive a renewable two-year period of “deferred action” or protection from deportation.
DACA ResourcesAs pioneers, philanthropists, and Americans, the founders of TheDream.US Scholarship, came together to find a solution to a problem affecting both our nation and its immigrant youth. This scholarship makes it impossible for DREAMers to get a college degree.
Upcoming EventsTheDream.US ProgramUNT Dallas, in partnership with the North Texas Food Bank, hosts Monthly Mobile Distributions, offering up to 60 lbs. of nutritious food, including fresh produce, to the community. The event takes place from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. on the third Friday of each month, excluding August and November, and is open to the public on a first-come, first-served basis.
