The UNT Dallas School of Business, headed by Dean Karen Shumway, has garnered a national ranking from Study.com for the best human resources programs in the country.
UNT Dallas ranked No. 25 and is prominently featured on the Study.com website.
"Students want to attend the best program they can afford in their chosen field, so they refer to national ranking lists to help them choose," Shumway said. "Having our HR program listed as a nationally recognized program on Study.com at a very high ranking ensures that we will be considered by the best students."
Study.com evaluated hundreds of schools for its rankings and selected UNT Dallas “based on academic and career resources for human resources students, the quality of education and program accessibility, among other factors."
"Congratulations to Dean Shumway and the human resources department for garnering this national ranking from Study.com," Provost Betty Stewart said. "It again proves that UNT Dallas is providing our growing student body with an affordable, high-quality education, and a pathway to a lifetime of socioeconomic mobility."
According to Study.com, more than 40 million visitors per month visit its site to research potential schools, degrees and careers.
