During the month of October, UNT Dallas team members have a unique opportunity to make a difference in our community through the State Employee Charitable Campaign (SECC). This annual fundraising effort gives state employees the opportunity to improve the quality of life for thousands in the North Texas region and throughout the state via payroll deduction or a one time-donation via cash or check. For more than 25 years, State of Texas employees have embraced fellow Texans through the SECC, contributing millions of dollars annually.
UNT Dallas has set two campaign goals this year. First, we want to ensure that all eligible employees are aware of the SECC and have an opportunity to give. Second, we would like to beat last year’s total pledge amount of $2,045.00. The minimum donation is $2 and even the smallest contributions help.
Giving is now even easier than ever thanks to SECC’s online giving site. Every gift is tax deductible and can be given to your SECC charity of choice. Payroll deduction pledges can be easily completed through the SECC Texas Giving Portal. If you need help navigating the giving portal, watch this instructional video. If you wish to contribute through a cash or check donation, or need assistance completing a payroll deduction pledge, please contact University Advancement or Human Resources for assistance.

We can’t do it without you, UNT Dallas! Together, we can make a difference in North Texas and beyond.
