Sharon Fjordbak

Sharon Fjordbak – Senior Lecturer of Business Law

In August 2023, Sharon will begin her fourteenth year as a professor of law at UNT Dallas School of Business. Prior to her position at UNT Dallas, Sharon was an adjunct lecturer at the SMU Dedman School of Law. She has been a practicing Texas attorney since 1989 in the fields of business, intellectual property, entertainment, and non-profit law.

She has created and taught a diversified group of law courses, including Business Law, Intellectual Property Law, Corporation Law, Non-Profit Law, Commercial Real Estate Law, and Legal Research and Writing. Sharon recently organized and created the courses for a new minor degree in Real Estate at UNT Dallas School of Business. She will teach two of the courses for the minor, including FINA 3311 (Real Estate Fundamentals) and BLAW 4300 (Commercial Real Estate Law).

Sharon is a published author of the scholarly work entitled The International Direct Broadcast Satellite Controversy, published in the SMU School of Law Journal of Air Law and Commerce, Volume 55, Issue 4.
