Life can be challenging, frustrating, and unfair. You may struggle with self-esteem, boundaries, and a history of unstable or toxic relationships. Emotional regulation feels impossible, leaving you overwhelmed by anxiety, depression, or explosive reactions. Substances like drugs or alcohol might seem like the only escape. The invisible scars from military life and first responder duties haunt you with nightmares, flashbacks, and constant anxiety, making it hard to feel safe. You might feel like Jekyll and Hyde, switching between your "shift" and "life" identities, using dark humor and numbness to cope. The fear of failure is ever-present, affecting your work, relationships, and self-worth. Change is hard, and asking for help can be even harder. That’s where I come in. Whether you need trauma therapy, skills building, coping strategies, goal setting, or just someone to listen without judgment, we will develop a plan that works for you. You won’t get the help you need unless you start.

We are located in Arlington, TX for in-office and can provide in-person and telehealth options. We are a group practice with a primary supervisor who works on the billing options and is open to allowing me to network with Blue Chip since I am passionate about assisting and supporting first responders. I have worked in the criminal justice and law enforcement fields for roughly 6.5 years. My heart and passion has lately been building professional relationships that still allow an open door policy for any troubles or concerns with confidentiality so they feel welcome to speak freely without any concern that their chain of command will know what they are struggling with. I have enjoyed working with officers at my previous employment, Arlington Police Department in a crisis counselor capacity and want to continue supporting first responders as best I can in therapy. I have utilized EMDR with some first responders along with other therapy modalities to best assist them in healing.

Anchored Resilience Therapy is my virtual private practice. I offer individual, couples and group therapy to adults. I’m also CISM trained. I was a police officer for over 7 years and spent most of that time on patrol. I recognized the need for police officers to have a counselor who understands their culture. I’ve been there firsthand, and this is why I chose to specialize in first responder mental health. I do not accept insurance at this time. Telehealth is utilized and my practice is private pay. I offer a 10% discount for first responders.
