Biography

Professor Marques Rice joined UNT Dallas College of Law in 2024 as the Director of Academic Success and Bar Readiness and Professor of Practice. He brings extensive experience in legal education and student support, having served as an academic support specialist and adjunct professor at the University of Illinois Chicago School of Law. His work has focused on foundational legal skills, bar exam preparation, and academic advising. Prior to entering academia, Professor Rice served as Assistant Corporation Counsel for the City of Chicago Department of Law, where he handled complex litigation and administrative matters.
