Katherine Powley

Katie Powley returned to the UNT Dallas College of Law as the Assistant Director of Admissions in 2023. Ms. Powley, a proud UNTD COL alumna, graduated in 2021 and worked as a Legal Nurse Consultant for law firms in Texas and Michigan. Ms. Powley earned an undergraduate degree in Nursing from Angelo State University in 1996 and worked as a Registered Nurse in Texas, Colorado, and Nebraska. She later earned bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Sociology from Arizona State University.

As a former College of Law student, Ms. Powley brings her unique perspective to the Office of Admissions, where she works to help aspiring law students achieve their goals. In her free time, Ms. Powley and her husband enjoy college football, live music, and spending time with their rescue dog.
